    Description: CONCERT

Join Brighton Orpheus Choir for an evening of Mozart.

Mozart was just 15 when he wrote Regina Coeli K.108 in 1771 - the first of three settings that he wrote.

Piano Concerto No.21 in C major K.467 is one of his most popular with a particularly entrancing slow movement.

Requiem K.626 - quite rightly one of Mozart's best known and loved works. He left it unfinished but we will be performing the completion by his pupil, Franz Xaver Süssmayr.

The Brighton Orpheus Orchestra - 26 players including 2 Bassett Horns (the type of Clarinets that Mozart wrote the  Requiem for).

     Our soloists are:
     Piano -  Rachel Fryer
     Soprano - Shona Knight
     Mezzo - Hannah Beddoe
     Tenor - Paul Austin Kelly
     Bass - Andrew Davies

     Musical Director - Nicholas Houghton
