A selection of joyful songs both sacred and secular for a summer’s evening including music by Bruckner, Bruch, Barber and Bernstein along with a Bluebird and some lively Bones! The Brighton Orpheus Choir will be joined by the children of the Orpheus Young Singers.

Brighton Orpheus Choir and Orpheus Young Singers are leading this charity concert in aid of the Martlet’s Hospice and the Argus Appeal for a second year. Tickets are on sale through the Martlet’s website now.
Jephtha – an Oratorio by Handel. Based on the biblical story of a victorious battle with the disastrous personal consequences of a rash vow, this most human, dramatic of oratorios was to be Handel’s last, beset as he was by diminishing eye-sight.
A lovely repertoire of music titled “How can I keep from singing?…………”. Morley, Mascagni, Mozart, and many more. With Brighton Orpheus Choir and Orpheus Young Singers.
