Zoë Bonner, soprano

Zoë Bonner  (soprano)

Zoë Bonner was born in Devon in 1980 and began her vocal training at the age of six. Although she went on to read Biology at Manchester University in 1998, her passion for music, drama and dance prevailed and she is currently studying on the MMus course at Trinity College of Music with Linda Hirst. At TCM Zoë is a full time member of the Chamber Choir and in January was awarded first prize in the Lillian Ash French Song Duo Competition.

A versatile performer, Zoë has a wealth of ensemble, solo, recording and broadcast experience. She performs regularly with Canzonetta and the BBC Daily Service Singers, and has recently appeared with the Oriana Ensemble in Westminster and the Philharmonia Voices at the Royal Festival Hall. Performances in opera have included solo roles in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Tippett's A Midsummer Marriage and scenes from Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea and Smetana's Two Widows. As a concert soloist, Zoë has performed across the UK with works including Mozart's Requiem and Regina Coeli, Handel's Messiah, Mahler's Symphony no.4, Vivaldi's Gloria and Bach's Magnificat.

Jane Money  (mezzo-soprano)

Born in Portsmouth, Jane started singing at an early stage, studying with Reginald Wassell and later with Covent Garden bass, Ronald Stear, at the Winchester School of Art. She was a Choral Scholar at the Royal Holloway College, and further awards enabled her to continue her singing studies at the Royal Northern College of Music with Sylvia Jacobs.

She has sung regularly for Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Operas, with performances including a well reviewed Madame Larina in Graham Vick's highly acclaimed production of Eugene Onegin. She has also sung with Kentish Opera, Opera South East and Dublin Grand Opera, and toured with the Earls Court arena production of Carmen to Japan, Switzerland and Germany. She is in demand on the concert platform too, with solo engagements taking her over much of Britain and Europe and, more recently, to America. Recordings include her role in the premiere performance of
Michael Finnissy's "This Church" directed by the composer himself.

Based in West Sussex, Jane divides her musical time between singing, teaching, choral conducting - and examining for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
